I am Dr. Nitin Rao Chavhan, an experienced academician and administrator specializing in Accounting and Finance. I hold a Ph.D. in Business Management and Commerce, along with CA (Intermediate), MBA, and Bachelor of Commerce qualifications. I have been associated with the field of higher education since 2010 and possess extensive experience in teaching, academic coordination, institutional administration, research, and programme management.

I began my academic career at S.S.I.T. College, Ratlam, where I served as Head of the Department of Management and Commerce from 2010 to 2013. Subsequently, I joined SACPE College, Ratlam, and worked as an Administrator and Academic Coordinator from late 2013 to mid-2023. Thereafter, I joined the Faculty of Commerce at Parul University as an Assistant Professor.

I later rejoined SACPE College, Ratlam, as Vice Principal, where I contributed to academic planning, administration, faculty coordination, student development, and institutional activities. Since 15 June 2026, I have been associated with GSFC University, Vadodara, where I currently serve as Programme Coordinator for the BBA–Business Analytics programme.

My primary research interests are Accounting and Finance. I have published five research papers, including two papers in Scopus-indexed journals, two papers in UGC-CARE List journals, and one paper in an international peer-reviewed journal. During my tenure at Parul University, four Ph.D. scholars were working under my research guidance.

My academic qualifications have provided me with a strong foundation in commerce, accounting, finance, management, and research. My Ph.D. in Business Management and Commerce has enhanced my capabilities in academic research, research methodology, and the analysis of business and financial issues.

My CA (Intermediate) qualification has provided me with sound knowledge of accounting, taxation, auditing, and financial management. My MBA qualification has strengthened my understanding of business administration, organizational management, and decision-making, while my B.Com. degree established the foundation of my expertise in commerce and accounting.

My research work primarily focuses on contemporary issues related to Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Management, and MSMEs.

I have more than 16 years of experience in teaching, academic administration, and institutional coordination.

In my current role, I am involved in programme coordination, academic planning, teaching, student mentoring, faculty coordination, curriculum implementation, and various departmental and institutional activities.

I have experience in research guidance and academic mentoring. During my tenure at Parul University, four Ph.D. scholars were working under my guidance. I have supported students and research scholars in identifying research topics, developing research methodology, reviewing literature, collecting and analysing data, and preparing research reports.

Based on my academic and administrative experience, I can provide guidance and consultancy in the following areas:

I am committed to promoting quality education, practice-oriented learning, research culture, and the holistic development of students.
