Dr. Pandey’s research focuses on biobased polymer science and sustainable packaging materials., with particular emphasis on polymer bionanocomposites, biodegradable polymers, poly(lactic acid) (PLA), polymer crystallization, degradation, and structure–property relationships. His work aims to develop sustainable, high-performance, and compostable materials for food packaging applications.
During his tenure at the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), Ahmedabad, Dr. Pandey was a member of the team involved in consultancy projects for SIG Combibloc India Private Limited, Ahmedabad, and Simpolo Vitrified Pvt. Ltd., Morbi, contributing to industry-oriented technical and research activities.
