Prof. Bhaumik Machhi is an accomplished academician currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at GSFC University, Gujarat. With a strong foundation in computer engineering, he holds a Master of Engineering (M.E.) from GTU and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering/IT. Over the past 14+ years, he has held key academic positions at reputed institutions including SLTIET Rajkot, Sigma Institute, Leads Institute, and Parul University, where he also served as Head of Department (CSE) and contributed significantly to placement coordination, curriculum design, and academic leadership. At GSFC University, he plays a pivotal role in enhancing industry-academia integration through future-ready curriculum planning in AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and IoT & Automation.

Prof. Machhi's research interests are rooted in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs), Cybersecurity protocols, and Energy-efficient routing algorithms. His work has been published in reputed journals including the Journal of Information Systems Engineering and Management (JISEM) and European Chemical Bulletin, with notable papers like “Implementation & Iterative Study on LEACH for UWSNs” and “Improving S-LEACH Protocol in Real-Time Freshwater Monitoring”. His innovative research blends real-world problem solving with theoretical rigor, focusing on parameters such as signal-to-noise ratio, propagation delay, and secure data transmission in underwater environments. He has also guided students in technical publications, minor projects, and industry-focused capstone work.

In addition to teaching and research, Prof. Machhi has been actively involved in institutional development through various roles such as Nodal Officer for ACPC Admissions, AICTE EOA Coordinator, Event Convener, and Technical Hackathon Mentor. He was awarded the Best Faculty for Contribution in Training & Placement at Parul University in 2024, recognizing his commitment to student success and professional readiness. With expertise in subjects like Cloud Computing, Digital Forensics, Computer Networks, and Wireless Security, he continues to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and academic pedagogy. His vision aligns with making CSE students industry-ready by integrating GenAI, prompt engineering, and real-world project-based learning—solidifying his role as a driving force behind GSFC University's mission of academic excellence and innovation.
