Ms. Vimla Virparia is a a proficient researcher. Her area of interests are in Banking and Risk Management, Mutual Funds, Housing Finance and Stock Market.  

 

She has a teaching experience of more than 14 years by serving various institutions such as GSFC University, Christ Institute of Management, St. Stephen Institute of Management and Narmada College of Management. She has experience in teaching subjects like Investment &Portfolio Management, Management of Financial Institutions & Services, Managerial Accounts, Financial Management, Strategic Financial Management etc. She has guided many students at undergraduate level for their research work and encourage students to present such research works in the form of research paper and published the same.

 

She has published more than 15 research articles in referred national and international academic journals and book chapters. She has also participated in more than 50 seminars, workshops and conferences and had also presented research papers at national and International conferences. She has also completed various certification courses in the area of Finance i.e. Investment Banking to upgrade her domain knowledge.

 

She has received an awards as an  University Gold Medalist in Masters of Business Administration and also gold medalist in Master of Commerce. She has also received award as a best performer through out her education. She has also been awarded as a great orator and presented herself at national level.  She is an active member of Board of Studies of the University and have framed  syllabus of various subjects. She had also conducted various career counselling session to throw light on the career pathway to the young aspirants. She is passionate about teaching, research and training.
