Charmi Mehta

Ms. Charmi Mehta is currently a faculty member at GSFC University, Vadodara, bringing over five years of teaching experience in Computer Engineering. She joined the university in January 2025 and brings with her a solid background in education, innovation and software technologies.

Charmi holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, with a CGPA of 8.84, following her Bachelor’s degree from the same university with a CGPA of 8.48. Her academic record is marked by consistent performance and a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of computing.

Her postgraduate project, titled “Improvisation of Feature Opinion Extraction on Big Data,” focused on lexicon-based sentiment analysis to derive meaningful insights from customer reviews. This work highlighted her interest in big data and data mining, and one of her research papers was published in the International Journal of Trend in Research & Development (IJTRD) in April 2016.

Committed to continuous learning and upskilling, Charmi has successfully completed the Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, a global certification course. She has also participated in a five-day Faculty Development Program on Data Science with AI & ML organized under the Code Unnati Program, along with several webinars aimed at professional growth.

In addition to her technical abilities, Charmi is known for her strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and collaborative work ethic. She remains focused on creating meaningful academic experiences and preparing students for the challenges of the evolving tech landscape.

Charmi Mehta completed her Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University in 2016, securing a CGPA of 8.48. She went on to pursue her Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Computer Engineering from the same university, which she completed in 2018 with a CGPA of 8.84. She passed her Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) examination in the Science stream from the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (G.H.S.E.B) in 2012 with a percentage of 78.38%. She completed her Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) from the Gujarat Secondary Education Board (G.S.E.B) in 2010 with a percentage of 89.08%.
