Dr Arti Hansda

Dr. Arti Hansda is an accomplished environmental microbiologist and academician, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Life Sciences at GSFC University, Vadodara, Gujarat. With over 7 years of multidisciplinary teaching and research experience, she has built a strong profile in the domains of bioremediation, biofertilizers, and plant–microbe interactions. She qualified the GATE (Life Sciences) examination in 2013, demonstrating her academic excellence and foundational strength in life sciences at the national level.

She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, where she focused on copper-resistant bacteria and their plant growth-promoting potential. Her M.Sc. in Microbiology was earned from the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, with a dissertation at the ICAR - Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture

Her research portfolio includes publications in high-impact journals such as Catena, 3 Biotech, World Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology, and Journal of Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste. She has co-authored book chapters with international publishers like Elsevier, CRC Press, Springer, and CABI, covering emerging topics in nanofertilizers, phytoremediation, xenobiotics, and mycoremediation.

Dr. Hansda has actively contributed to national and international conferences and symposiums and continually upgrades her academic acumen through FDPs, MOOCs, and UGC training programs, including NEP 2020 orientation under MM-TTP.
