Dr. Parin H. Kanaiya is a distinguished chemist with specialized expertise in organic and supramolecular chemistry, particularly in the design and application of calix[4]resorcinarene derivatives. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Gujarat University in 2009, with a research focus on the synthesis, structural characterization, and functional applications of these macrocyclic compounds.

With over 15 years of experience in both industrial R&D and academia, Dr. Kanaiya has made significant contributions to the fields of molecular self-assembly, host–guest chemistry, and functionalized macrocyclic architectures. His research delves into calix[4]resorcinarene-based dyes, their interactions with surfactants, and their antimicrobial properties.

Dr. Kanaiya’s scientific pursuits bridge organic synthesis, analytical chemistry, and advanced materials, with his work published in several high-impact international journals. His innovative research continues to advance the frontiers of supramolecular chemistry and its applications in materials science and chemical biology.

Worked with Sal Engineering and Technical Institute, Ahmadabad as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and I/C HOD of Chemical Engineering Department, from September 15, 2014 to June 4, 2015. And taught Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Unit Processes, Chemistry, Environmental Studies course papers.

Worked as an Assistant manager R&D at Transpek-Silox Industries Ltd., Which is an ISO-9001-2000 certified manufacturing and processing facility for Zinc dust and Zinc derivatives for Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Rubber industries, Paint and Oil Refining.
