Prof Dr Ranjita Banerjee

Dr Ranjita Banerjee serves as the Dean & Professor of  the School of Management Studies & Liberal Arts, GSFC University. She bears to her credit 23 years of rich experience spread across entire gamut of Human Resources, Organization Development and training across academia and corporate; Engaged in Campus to Corporate Training as well as employee training in Communication, behavioral training, business etiquette, soft-skills; Her areas of specialization are Managerial Communication, Managerial Economics, HRM, HRD, Change Management & Org. Development, Strategic Human Resource Mgt., Business Ethics & Corporate Governance, Sustainable Environment, in addition to value-education and Soft-skills/ Behavioural Training & Mentoring.

She is a Certified National Level Master Trainer & Lead Assessor from MEPSC (GOI), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship- Level 6 (Highest level) in March 2023. Dr Banerjee is the recipient of many National & International Awards. She has served as Resource person, Conference Convener, Chief Mentor on various platforms. She has been the Paper Co-ordinator for HRM specialization paper under e-Pathshala of Ministry of HRD, GOI, for e-PG Courses (For 'Managing Culture and Diversity') in Aug-Sept 2017. Co-ordinated with 20 faculties across Gujarat for the same and edited all the 24 Modules of the Course.

Bearing strong expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, Dr Ranjita Banerjee displays excellence in her performance and key work accomplishments. She has one Patent to her credit and she has been the author/ writer of about 20+ research papers. She possesses the requisite capability essential for bringing in impactful funded research projects.

Dr Banerjee is a PhD in Management with her PhD study on ‘A Study of Linkages between HRM Practices and SMEs Performance in Vadodara District’. The study included an analysis of HR practices of 126 SME firms and 215 SME Owners/ Managing Heads as respondents across 8 Industrial Estates of Vadodara District (out of a total of 12 estates) in March 2017. The key outcomes of her study included in giving recommendations to the SME entrepreneurs in implementing HR best practices so that SMEs performances can be improved.
