Dr. Grishma Pindolia is currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Physics) at GSFC University, Vadodara. Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Physics from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar, where she conducted extensive research on the computational modelling of perovskite solar cells. She further expanded her expertise through postdoctoral research at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee under the DST-Materials-MAP project.

Her research focuses on the design and optimization of sustainable photovoltaic materials—especially unleaded perovskites—using Density Functional Theory (DFT) and solar cell simulation tools. She also integrates modern computational techniques with machine learning to predict and enhance solar cell performance. Her work has been published in several peer-reviewed international journals, including Solar Energy, Materials Chemistry and Physics, and Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, among others. Dr. Pindolia’s research has also attracted international media attention for its contribution to eco-friendly solar cell technology.

She has delivered presentations at both national and international conferences, including events hosted by The University of Queensland (Australia) and leading technical institutions in India. In 2023, she was awarded a prestigious International Travel Grant by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India.

Alongside her research, Dr. Pindolia has substantial teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is also an active peer-reviewer for high-impact journals such as Solar Energy (Elsevier), Physica Scripta (IOPscience), Scientific Reports (Nature Publishing Group), and Optical and Quantum Electronics (Springer), among others.

She is engaged in science communication and pedagogy through her YouTube channel, where she shares physics lectures tailored for undergraduate students. Her academic excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Minaxi Lalit Science Award (state topper for two consecutive years) and a Gold Medal in the National Cyber Olympiad.
