Dr Shehnaz Mansoori

Dr. Shehnaz Mansoori is a dedicated academician and researcher in the field of Chemistry with over Nine years of combined experience in Teaching, Research, and Laboratory practice. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry with specialization in microemulsion systems based on ionic liquids and sugar-based non-ionic surfactants, contributing to the advancement of Green and Sustainable Chemical Technologies.

Her research work primarily focuses on the Design, Formulation, and Characterization of Microemulsion systems, with particular emphasis on Phase Behavior, Microstructure Analysis, Solubilization Mechanisms, and Extraction of Inorganic Metal Ions. She has extensively worked on Room Temperature Ionic Liquids (RTILs) as environmentally benign alternatives to conventional solvents, aligning her research with modern principles of Green Chemistry and Sustainability.

Dr. Mansoori has demonstrated strong expertise in Colloidal and Interface Science, Surfactant Chemistry, and Nanostructured Systems, supported by hands-on experience with advanced analytical techniques such as Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), UV–Visible spectroscopy, Conductivity measurements, Rheology, and Polarization microscopy. Her work also extends to Nanoparticle Synthesis, Targeted Drug Delivery concepts, and Solubilization of Hydrophobic Compounds, making her research interdisciplinary in nature.

She has published multiple research papers in reputed international journals, including Tenside Surfactants and Detergents, Journal of Dispersion Science and Technology, Journal of Molecular Liquids. She has presented her Research at various National and International Conferences. Her contributions reflect a strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge in the domain of microemulsions and functional materials.

In addition to research, Dr. Mansoori has substantial teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has been actively involved in curriculum delivery, laboratory instruction, student mentoring, and academic evaluation, and has adopted research-oriented and student-centric teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes. Her international exposure through academic roles in the UAE has further strengthened her adaptability to diverse educational environments and global academic standards.

She is also a recipient of the prestigious Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India Fellowship, recognizing her research potential and academic excellence.

Dr. Mansoori is committed to contributing to academia through quality teaching, impactful research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of sustainable chemical solutions, while aligning her work with emerging educational frameworks and global research trends.
