Dr. Amit Singh is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at GSFC University, Vadodara. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee with research focused on hydrate-based separation of CH4-CO2 systems for biogas upgrading. His research interests include gas hydrates, gas separation, CO2 capture and sequestration, sustainable energy systems, and environmental engineering.

He has published several research articles in reputed international journals such as Energy & Fuels, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Fluid Phase Equilibria, and Gas Science and Engineering. His work mainly focuses on hydrate kinetics, gas separation technologies, and the application of eco-friendly additives for improving gas hydrate processes.

Dr. Singh has experience in experimental setup design, gas chromatography, Raman spectroscopy, and hydrate phase equilibrium studies. He has presented his research at various international conferences, including ICGH-10 Singapore, and has received recognition for his contributions to hydrate-based gas separation research.

Dr. Amit Singh’s research focuses on hydrate-based gas separation technologies for sustainable energy and environmental applications. His Ph.D. research at IIT Roorkee primarily addressed the separation of CH4-CO2 gas mixtures for biogas upgrading using gas hydrate technology. His work involved the design and optimization of experimental setups, investigation of hydrate formation and dissociation kinetics, and enhancement of gas separation efficiency using biodegradable additives and thermodynamic promoters.

His research expertise includes gas hydrates, CO2 capture and sequestration, gas storage, hydrate thermodynamics, phase equilibrium studies, and sustainable environmental engineering. He has hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC), Raman Spectroscopy, hydrate phase equilibrium calculations, and experimental process optimization.

Dr. Singh has contributed significantly to the field through multiple publications in reputed international journals and presentations at international conferences including ICGH-10, Singapore. He has also worked on funded research projects related to CH4/CO2 gas separation through hydrate formation under Faculty Initiation Grant (FIG) supported research at IIT Roorkee.
